2006 written series for Japanese mobile carrier

In 2006, HBO entered into a mobile distribution deal with J:COM (Jupiter) to host some of its most popular series. However, due to an existing licensing deal involving “Sex and the City,” Carrie and her pals could not be part of the mobile deal. As a result, “The Carrie Bradshaw Diaries” were born; a monthly four-part story delivered in diary form to Japanese cell phones.
